" Barbs personality was a total game changer for us. She is calm, patient, honest, observant, curious, diligent and honest. Coming to a new city and buying a home was at first quite exciting, and then the reality of a competitive market, expensive pricing, and our own psychological coping of stress and commitment all combined to make something that was exciting still…but not in a good way! The whole time we had this amazing person sharing her experience and opinions, and offering us support and advice. Having known Barb through the experience of buying a home, we can definitely say that we understand the countless referrals that we received for her. Her ability to build relationships affected not only our direct experience, but also in the negotiation and closing stages with outside people. Through all of our interactions we knew that we were working with a person who would be genuine and authentic, who was transparent about everything, and who demonstrated empathy for our position. Barb was so available to us and our (ample) time spent searching was as well-organized as can be! Barb many times had to be the voice of reason and hope in the face of so much pressure, stress and disappointment with home buying in Calgary. She would stealthy check out new listings, text us if there was a sale, preview houses for us, check in with how we were doing, graciously include extended family members and a million more things that helped us along our journey. And then it happened, we found the home that is going to be with us as we get older (at least a bit), and plan out our future dreams. It’s odd to go through the intensity of finding and buying a home and then suddenly not see that person on an almost-daily basis. My consolation has been that we can share this amazing resource with anyone who needs, and we have a lasting connection that we can count on."

"“Starting our search for our first home we were very nervous as we entered very unfamiliar territory. Barb Bamber was instrumental in helping us navigate through the home buying process. Through a VERY time intensive search Barb never got frustrated or let us settle for anything less than what we were looking for, even though we are certain she thought we would never find the perfect place. She was extremely patient with us and when we were ready to give up she was there to motivate us on. We eventually found the perfect property (we know the real estate lingo now!) that had everything we were looking for, and it was in our price point! Barb went above and beyond to ensure everything was done accurately and on time.
